Here is a dance track inspired by my love of the Hotel Costes series back in the 90s

I tried to go for a more melancholy, longing feel - the kind of headspace I'd imagine so many folks are in at a dark lounge, alone in their thoughts.

The animation was done by capturing video of my friend on an iPhone, then rotoscoping at around 5 fps

Sasha Vie - Après midi de pluie

Enjoy!

Just released a new single ‘Float Along’ and b-side with my project Pet Twin. Both quite chilled tracks with an ethereal kind of feel to them. I really love Sufjan Stevens and Beach House and feel like you can hear the influence there a little bit but the songs have their own style to them too. I’ve been told the b-side ‘Shit 80’s Soundtrack’ sounds like something from Stranger Things.

Here's some music that I've made after finishing my digital music course

I'm also wondering what genre my music exactly fits into? It's very videogame-y but that's too broad, and although I've tagged them with Drum & Bass I'm not sure that quite fits.

March Of An Unknown Entity!

An Ocean Of Gateways

Quand And Ale

River Of Stars

AN ESCAPE FROM HELL

Edit: Just to add, constructive criticism is welcome, I'm still very new and looking to improve

My band's first single El Flow. We're a female-fronted, latino-ish rock band from the southside of Chicago. This is the 3rd song we wrote together (with our og drummer, we got new drummer Gabe now) but the first song where we incorporated our latin influence. I think its dope, the guys did an awesome job, I know my vocals need work, on it. Thanks for listening.

The Boulder Problem by Cyrano

He's a small electronic producer from Edinburgh, Scotland. I saw him play this in Glasgow last year when he was supporting Daithi, almost no-one showed up for his support set, which was absolutely criminal if you ask me, but he said this track was inspired by something in that Free Solo documentary. I've never seen it but am going to watch it now. His other track tundra is really good.

I've also been listening to a lot of Jadu Heart this week, they're touring through Glasgow in March which has gotten me to give their albums a listen and I'm finding a lot I really enjoy there. Excited to get these on on sunny days in the summer.

The Aristocrats w/Primuz Chamber Orchestra

This is hands-down the most innovative, unique, inspired, and engaging album from start to finish I’ve heard in a very long time. The Aristocrats are a badass 3-piece prog-fusion trio in their own right, but after coming across a video of this Polish orchestra covering one of their tunes, they connected and recorded this masterpiece. The string arrangements are truly next-level and they sound as though they were specifically composed for this music, not simply placed on top of it like many others that are added later.

And for a personal plug - I’m a drummer recently turned guitarist/bassist/producer/songwriter and I’ve been on a wild journey to expand and refine my musical worldview, including learning theory basics and pushing myself to creatively express with new instruments. Here’s my first attempt at a full-length album of 10 originals written, performed, and produced by me with a couple collabs and a cover featuring my wife’s lovely singing. There’s tons of mistakes and blemishes but I’m rather proud of it and I learned a ton throughout this process.

Mids Of A Mold - Layover

It's a Portuguese rock band from Lisbon. I've been listening to this guys ever since I was little. Mind you that it's no coincidence that the lead guitarist from this band is also my brother. That aside, I am sharing this link because for this particular song they made a videoclip with an amazing animation which I've seen like 5 times.

Here is my debut album, Hank, that I released on January 3rd, 2023 and I'm trying to get it in as many ears as possible. I'm a 32 year old indie folk/Americana/rock songwriter, guitarist and singer. I had all but given up music about 6 years ago, but following a cross country move and ending up around people who supported my craft, I dove back in and finally achieved a dream of mine by releasing this project. I really hope you enjoy it!

Great Lakes by Dickerd N Sons. A song in which captures the gratitude and love felt by living in the region. Throughout worldly travels, an almost magical vibe pulls you back. With an ode to Canadiana, the maple leafs, charter of rights and of course, the great lakes. See if you can focus on the voices in the dialogue bridge to hear the three parts.

So Bandcamp Friday was on the horizon last year. I didn't know what to do so I stayed up for three nights and put together an album called "Junkies on my Doorstep". I actually sold a good handful of copies. Needless to say, it wasn't a proper 'release', yknow, with ads and majestic music videos, but I did start playing some of the songs live, including this one. It's called Toxic Friend. I played it with two keyboards and my one keyboard has some very cool features (as you'll see). I wrote it based on some ... ahem... toxic friends in the past, including one dude who stole my walkman (and then denied it). Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

I'll be posting a new live song every Tuesday on my YouTube channel fyi

Hey guys,

I released my very first song! I recorded it in my living room, together with a friend who did drums and synths. Has a lot of ambient textures and odd-meter drumming. I don't know what kind of genre it is, but I guess it's somewhere between Indie and experimental Pop. Would be nice, if you found time to check it out :)
