Absolutely. The food is good (not great) but you go for the experience and now you go to fit in as many final memorials before it goes away (in its current form).

They’ll tear it down for luxury condos and keep a tiki in the lobby as it’s memorial

Family’s is good (Salisbury maybe?). But just go to Kowloons. It’s great. Jade is recommended too (Andover area and I think they have one or two other locations )

I found the North Shore a bit devoid of solid chinese if I was being honest. Some people seem to really love Fantasy Island in Salem, I found it a bit hit or miss. One thing I will give them credit for, the best duck sauce I've ever had 😅. Personally China River in Beverly took the crown for me, but that's mostly because of lack of solid competition

Mandarin Danvers is a great place for food. The restaurant itself is well lit, clean, recently updated interior. I never went any where else again

Go to Kowloon before it closes and say, “that was okay”
