OK. That's the wage of a big chunk of every public school system in Massachusetts.

And school districts can't hire anyone either. A couple friends are paras and they're getting pulled in to cover whole classes, leaving students who need 1:1 coverage to fend for themselves. All for $1000 a month take home.
