RIP former congressman John Olver

Although we never knew each other personally for 12 years I was your neighbor 4 houses down on the same street that we both lived.

I was that annoying 14 year old who 33 years ago would crank call your house at 2 in the morning.

I remember I’d see the congressman out doing housework while I’m driving home to South Hadley. He really loved Amherst.

Haha no, I just remember when he would call the office he’d say, “This is himself”. Also his license plate was just “1”, which I thought was pretty cool.
