Winter has been dragging my wife down a little bit, and I wanted to cheer her up by going out to brunch this weekend. Where's a good place to go?

We've already done Armsby Abbey in Worcester and loved it. That place is fantastic. We also enjoyed Wild Hare in Hudson and J & M in Framingham.

Location isn't that much of an issue, although bonus points (from me) if there's a good brewery nearby and bonus points (from her) if there's antique store nearby as well.

Go to Farmers Daughter in Sudbury. Looks to be in your general area. Chris Evans allegedly frequents the Whole Foods next door, maybe that will cheer your wife up lol.

This is by far the best breakfast I've ever had, repeatedly - at the Farmer's Daughter (I go to the location in Sudbury). I just went there for my birthday this last weekend (and splurged and got myself the lobster benedict) and it was absolutely delightful.

Closed for winter, but Nancy’s Air Field Cafe in Stow is awesome (alcohol license & good drinks). Also the Twisted Fork in cherry valley (just out of Worcester) which would be close to breweries and shopping. I’m a big fan of good diner foods so if that’s your thing Miss Worcester and Salt and Pepper too.

Cedar Street Grille in Sturbridge has a nice brunch on Sundays. Once you are out that way you have a few small breweries nearby (Altruist, Oakholm, Rapscallion) and of course Treehouse is one town over in Charlton. Plus, plenty of antique shops in the vicinity for her.

Edit: typo

Try the Hampton (NH) Airport Cafe. If it’s a good day there may be small planes landing and taking off. Drive the (short)NH coast. Throwback Brewery is very close by. Lots of others too. Can’t give specifics but there should be plenty of antique stores in the area.

You need to go to brunch at Ledger in Salem- they win best of the northshore religiously- and we’ll deserved! Then head over to Notch brewing!

Deadhorse Hill on Main St in Worcester is an amazing restaurant with a killer brunch on Sundays. If you like the Abbey, definitely check them out.

Big apple deli in Marlboro is a place I enjoy for their stuffed french toast and hash browns. For Brewery, the only one I've loved was true west in acton but I don't frequent breweries

Fogo de Chao has a brunch that’s kind of an experience. They have the whole market table with fruits, meats, cheeses, plus waffles and made to order omelets. Then if you’re feeling carnivorous, you can get the rodizio service (endless grilled meats). The mimosas are great too. Also they take reservations, which I would recommend.

Thanks for this! Adding some places to our list.

I would also recommend heading to Harvard Square - lots of options and window shopping.
