Just a warning about Greatwoods (as it used to be called and many of us still call it). It is a pain to get to and hell to leave. If you are from a country where you don’t drive much might want to consider that. You’ll be sitting in the parking lot for at least an hour after the show before you get to the highway to start your journey.

At least an hour, sold out shows as long as two hours.

You can buy an $8 hotdog from a stranger in the parking lot as you wait

If you go see Phish like I used to, you can buy a lot of things!

I see, thank you for de heads up, have you ever been to a concert then? Is the sound good and stuff?

I’ve been to dozens of concerts there over the years, but I basically refuse to go at this point, and haven’t been for probably five years. As I remember the sound is good and it is a pretty good venue while you’re there, but I’m well out of date on that info.

Before the pandemic, we thought we'd cracked the code on this venue: Only go to shows where we're interested in the openers, and leave 20 minutes into the headliner before there's any parking lot traffic. Worked tremendously for 30 Seconds to Mars (Joywave and Walk the Moon were awesome, Jared Leto was insufferable), but when we did the same for Heart, we regretted leaving early, because the few songs we heard Heart do were excellent and we wished we'd been there for more. But stuck to the plan.

I actually like some of their songs and was kind of psyched to hear them, but between the ten minutes of obelisk lowering and everyone in the band except Jared being situated at the very back of the stage... ugh, get over yourself, dude.

Saw them at another show and it was an hour of Jared Leto trying to get the crowd to sing for him. Then he said he had to take his shirt off because he lost a bet. Such a douche.

The sound is good, as others said though the sound is better in the seats than the lawn section.

Also bring snacks for the parking lot after, or pay for the VIP parking which is the first lot let out.

Getting in was no problem past time I went leaving takes hours. And I even lost my car in the parking lot so I didn’t leave until lots of people had already left, maybe that was the problem, but I would have thought that would give them a chance to get out and away before I even tried to leave. Nope. Hours

I went to the Xfinity Center last summer to see Third Eye Blind as a new driver with a lot of anxiety. It was fine. I had no issues entering and exiting the free lots. BUT, I got there an hour early and the show was far from sold out.
