Having spent portions of time the past several years in FL (Palm Beach County, both the uppity and COPS sections), MA doesn't even begin to hold a candle to the insanity that occurs in DeStupid Land.

There are stupid people everywhere. Per capita, MA definitely has fewer than Florida does though.

No, we absolutely aren't. Just in New England alone, New Hampshire is way more Florida-y than MA (Live Free or Die could practically be Florida Man's motto, maybe sub "or" for "and"), as is Rhode Island and parts of Maine.

This did make me think about that -- I thought the reason Florida had such specific headlines was because other states have laws restricting what details can be published about an arrest.
Are there no such laws in Massachusetts? This seems like it's pretty specific.
