Yes they do require you to go in - look 7am on Mondays for your pick of places unless you want to go to western MA or the islands

Honestly unsure, my appointment is Monday afternoon actually. I doubt it though, they’ll know the reason you’re coming in is bc your out of state license is expiring. I’ve been in Boston since 2018 and have kept my Maine lic even after being a registered voter in MA

3 weeks out was the first appointment for me, but I wanted to go to Haymarket - they could have sooner ones outside of the city

DMV won’t give a shit. No one is going to put any more thought into it than filing your paper work and issuing a license.
