Since it's showing the area code I'm guessing early to mid nineties?

Late 90’s was the peak but hung on until 07/08 ish. It was the best, and worst, of Somerville/Medford.

I’d say late 90s / early 00s — weren’t the area codes normalized / required in the mid-late 90s?

Felt like mid but hell I barely remember what I ate for breakfast

it was the early 2000’s
“Beginning October 24, 2021, you must dial the area code + telephone number (or 1 + the area code + telephone number as applicable) for all local calls. Loved that place. Ghetto as hell. Could always find a good pool game there. And still a million times better than the corporate fakeville there now...

That place was fucking amazing on LSD.
Just sayin'

That place had everything and for some reason a basket ball court right in the middle until it closed it was my favorite hang out spot

So many memories. From laser tag and go karts at the Pop Warner Football “banquet”, to being an adult and watching someone get stabbed while I played pool and shouting “Oh shit he got stabbed the fuck up,” while checking to see if it was our turn at the basketball court with the chain link fence while ordering cocktails despite being 19.

Good Times was a huge part of my high school life. We used to cut class and Good Times is a great way to spend the day. Played a ton of pool for 50% off because of the coupon books they hand out to students. Drank a lot of Shirley temples. Played a lot of DDR. And then eventually Initial D. We also got some silver tokens that were the same size from eBay for dirt cheap and played a ton of games until we got caught. But just a slap on a wrist. Still played a lot of pool and even did go karting when we had a bit more money in college. And was finally able to drink so we had a lot of cheap beer. Shady spot but easily one of the best places and lots of memories.

Oh man!! I used to go there when I was a kid and play ping pong on those dark ass tables with my father.
Actually was metal detecting my yard recently and found this exact token I’d probably dropped getting out of the car 10+ years ago.

I’ll never forget Good Times because that’s where I invited my whole class in elementary school to come for my birthday party and not a single person came. There’s me at those long tables near the entrance, crying uncontrollably in Good Times… good times… haha…

God I spent so many hours there as a child. When you won a plushie from one of the claw machines, it smelled like cigar smoke for at least two years afterwards.

Went once when I was 13 with my godfather. One of the most fun days / memory I have of a fun place. Kind of gave me a scary but fun vibe???

Wasn’t it a stabbing murder that finally closed the place down? Good times.

Always a great place to see the original Charlestown and Somerville kids get into machete fights. Those motherfuckers hated each other but every weekend gathered in the same spot.

Come for the games, leave because a brawl just broke out three feet away from your kid’s birthday party
