Inside of I-95 and outside of I-95?

What would combining them do for the Y?

In theory, there might be less administrative overhead resulting in more money spent on facilities and programs.

It looks like they may be individual franchises.

Thank you for sharing. It sounds like the Melrose ymca used to be independent and then was folded into metro north. Would be so helpful if greater Boston would merge with metro north.

every non profit will have grifters and scandals.. scandal actually means something bad ended up coming to light and dealt with as opposed to being hidden.. most non profits have people in them stealing money..

I imagine different areas of the country have different populations of people, culture and vibe.. like the YMCA in Fenway in Boston or in Central Sq is going to be different than the YMCA next to the Franklin State forest.. they all have a different vibe.. and some a cooler and better funded than others..so the network that is like in Vermont or next to a river would all share a certain vibe.. like the ones in retirement community areas in Florida would have different facilities and programs than ones in a rich suburb that wants nice programs for rich teens and moms with kids.. just an idea..
