That’s why we are only going to have 7-9 people, and ratio will be half and half (probably 2 couples, the rest singles for this smaller one) I have much experience putting these events together and are pretty well known in the community TBH.
Don’t be shy to send a dm and ask questions people!
Only a select few will be invited. The ones already invited will be voting to see who else is coming since it’s such a small/intimate setting!

Though it could have been phrased more politely it's a valid question, and that you become defensive when someone poses it doesn't engender confidence. It was "mild criticism" at worst, not "hate"..
