I moved recently, and I don’t feel like paying the $25 for a new license. I see on the back of it there’s a line to write your new address: “CHANGE OF ADDRESS. PRINT BELOW. PERMANENT INK”

However, I can’t seem to figure out how to actually write on the license. It’s a smooth laminate- no pen or marker sticks to it. Am I supposed to stick a label to write on first? Thanks, idk if there’s an obvious solution I am missing

Just put a return address sticker on. Or any sticker and write on it. That’s what I did.

They used to mail you stickers you'd write on. You can buy similar ones at the dollar store.

Oof. They must have changed (i.e. cheapened) the material because I've done that in the past. Good luck.

Do you have a return address sticker? I've used that in the past! If you're having a hard time writing on the back either use a return address sticker (cut off the part that has your name and just stick the address part on the back) or write your new address on a piece of paper and put tape over it and stick it to the back.

Or you can type it out and print it//tape that to the back if you want it to look neater!

Sharpie then cover with clear scotch tape or packing tape to prevent it from rubbing off. I'm on my second address change
