So you can’t give us a name of who was kidnapped, who did it, the town, nor the date but you want our help?

All I know is that it happened in November (I don't know the year) in Plum island
Existentialcrisis305 OP t1_ix68qe3 wrote
Also it happened to a 13F named Sophie and her mom is Sarah O'Neil (I'm not sure if her last name is spelled that way)

Not really, basically, the chain is "you get your son (or someone close to you) kidnapped by someone who also got his son (or someone close to him) kidnapped, and you have to pay a ransom, kidnap someone else's kid and force him to do the same so your kid got released...and it goes on like that

If you knew the town and names why didn’t you put that in the title?
You’re just jerking us around.

I honestly don't have any idea, i thought it's a real story... Can you give me the name of its writer?

I'm not jerking anyone around, I'm not sure if the abduction even is true story.... that's what I'm trying to figure out, and I'm not sure whether those infos are real or no

Google has it. Honestly this question feels like someone trying to advertise that book 🙄

That’s exactly what it sounds like… OP are you sure this was real?

There's already a fictional novel about this of the same title. Same premise. A loved one is kidnapped. There's a ransom. But in order to retrieve your loved one you must also kidnap someone in order to effect your loved ones release. Hence, The Chain. If you go to the cops? Dead. If you somehow screw up the instructions? Dead. And so on....
There is an overwatch group that monitors everything.

No idea but could “the chain” be referring to a blockchain?
