It’s a tough word to spell when you’re not jonesin’
Still not sure what word he meant. Is he looking for a physician
What a bunch of slimy assholes you both are, fuck off
For what?
They're the slimy assholes but the guy who made a post looking for benzos isn't? Hmmm
Start with your primary care physician, they will listen, diagnose and offer treatment options. If you don't feel that they are empathetic to your situation, ask for a referral to a psychiatrist.
You can't walk in the door asking for benzos they will immediately think drug addict.
Most physicians are reluctant to prescribe benzos or pain medication now because of all the clients that accused the doctors of getting them addicted.
It is what it is...try yoga or meditation (serious).
If you are suffering from acute withdrawal symptoms from a substance you are addicted to, this may be a medical emergency. Go to an ER or Urgent Care and hope for the best.
Call 911 if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency.
Eta: Another reason for not prescribing is the enormous increase in fentanyl abuse and deaths.
Usually people have a Dr and get a prescription. You don’t have one of those? Are you an Addict?
Call your PCP if you have a current script for them she should be able to prescribe you a 3 day supply until you can see a psychiatrist. Mine has done that for me once. He/She’ll also be able to recommend you to a psychiatrist if you need one. If it’s an emergency go to the ER, benzo withdrawals are not fun, been there done that. But if you aren’t on a script at all no one is just going to give out benzodiazepines.
