I should have a premium due to my wages and have paid a premium in the past. However it seemed during covid they stopped and started premiums randomly.

Anyways my wage has only gone up so I assume I need to pay more now. However it's been months with no bill and they never answer when I call. Her insurance seems to be working as my daughter has been to the doctors.

Am I out of the loop with something?

Because of COVID, MassHealth paused certain activities such as redetermination (this is when they ask for recent stubs to see if you should still qualify), approved all Hardship Premium waivers, and other things to help people get through. The pause has recently ceased and MH is playing catch-up now. You won't be responsible for past "un-billed" premiums but they are unfortunately coming back for many soon.

Here's where I am confused. We are all under one roof. I make well over the FPL and at the upper end of the premium threshold. They have never asked her to get taken off mass health (as I use the VA) and her mother (we are not married) but live together uses mass health as well. We are under one roof and even with the 3 of us I am still above.

They have never asked her to be taken off before, just always increased what I owe for a premium. I am fine with this as I should pay more, we are happy with her established care and would like to remain the same.

What are the odds they would ask her to be taken off? My salary has been roughly the same since they last billed me so it's nothing new and they didn't ask then.

Kinda word vomit here. My biggest concern is I thought I was missing payments or something and I didn't want her coverage to lapse given open season and all.

I somehow fell into this too. Basically been on free healthcare despite working for at least a year. When I called and told them they said I was still covered and they would let me know when I need to update my income. I got that letter a month ago and need to start paying again after the holidays.
