There are no plans. Even if there were plans, it wouldn't happen.

This is how the MBTA "works." They are wholly dysfunctional and unable to even keep the current system up to federal standards.

Do not expect anything they operate to ever get better. It only gets worse.

They can barely keep what they have operational let alone think about all that newfangled stuff. That said, they are hiring some smart people so we’ll see!

The MBTA has committed to the concept, but has not identified a clear strategy to achieve it. The proposed construction of a train layover facility at Widett Circle would help open up options.

If by plans you mean, people have said we should, then yes. If however, you mean the act of making preparations for a project, then no.
