A lot of the well-to-do towns do not have it. Weston, Wellesley, Dover, places like that.

*I'm pretty sure Wellesley doesn't have trash pick up, guessing on Dover, but will yield to people who live in those towns

Trash pickup encourages poor people to move into the town, you know.

I can maybe understand Weston and Dover, but Wellesley is significantly denser.I feel like that's just kinda dumb to not have trash pickup.

Needham didn't have it when I was growing up either. It blew my mind when I moved to Boston and Newton after trash got picked up for "free." I know you pay for it with taxes but still.

why not? Every town I know that has to get their own is filled with complaints on facebook pages.

honestly though I can kinda understand, i feel like trash pickup should be commonplace unless its super sparse, like wellesley and needham are decently dense in terms of how wealthy suburbs go, they are even denser than lex
