Also Architectural Salvage Inc. in Exeter NH.

Alternative Sales in Kingston NH is a restaurant supply place with loads of restaurant salvage. My kitchen counters and sinks all come from there.

Take a field trip out to Zaborski Emporium in Kingston, NY. It's equal parts architectural salvage and vintage/antique housewares, and HUGE.

Also, if you're looking for specific things and don't mind waiting, the guys at Deconstruction Works in VT come across all sorts of random stuff in their projects, and post them on their FB page (or you can call Erich and let him know what you're looking for). They don't have a store, so no random browsing.

Boston Building Resources - their reuse center is mostly run of the mill stuff good for fixing up old but non-fancy homes, but they frequently have interesting and high-end pieces as well. They also have resources for buying new production parts compatible with vintage homes - like all-wood double hung window sashes that use modern vinyl rails.

Restore in Pittsfield is the best restore I have been to. It’s huge and not as picked through at the ones out East. If you are interested in antique furniture as well I have had good luck at 202 antiques in Westfield. Although it can be pricey the brimfield flea market in May, July and September can be a good option if you are looking for specific things like door knobs and other hardware

I have always wanted to check out Olde Bostonian in Dorchester, but that would be a bit of a drive for you out in W. MA.

portland Maine used to have a HUGE one called Architectural Salvage - it was a massive building with multiple floors and things as huge as doorframes , bathtubs, Fireplace mantels - all the way down to drawer pulls

not sure if its still around but if it is its worth the trip
