Look at all that downvote rage from the miserable people in central and western Ma who have pitted themselves against eachother just because the wealthy milked them. Just so angry that they can’t afford their lives and have descended into a vicious rat race

At least the wealthy people have generators amirite

Those other people will get their power when the for profit utility company with absolutely no obligation to its community’s well-being feels like it

Yes, and in most towns across MA the wealthy have generators while the others don’t and are at the whim of a for profit utility company that couldn’t care less about the community

Same goes for the whole country, because this is broken capitalism in America

We could do better but the general sentiment here is fuck you I got mine

A small generator really isn't that expensive where it's a luxury only the wealthy can afford. And, as much as I hate National Grid, they've never had a problem working their asses off to get the power back on. Stop making up things to pretend to be outraged about.

You sound sheltered

By the way that’s the employees working their ass off, bucko

Fuckin Christ

Unreal the levels you guys will drag everyone’s standards down to. Go to alabama if you want to get taken like that

We’re better than this in MA. We are about progress here, not regress. Go arbitrarily suffer on your own if you want

Ps the “native” thing is so embarrassing lol 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I live in Harvard but I’m not wealthy. No generator here. I’m freezing my ass off and my food is going bad right along with the rest of you.

Saying that the power goes out and the utility company, not the workers will take their time to restore power. They have no true obligation other than profit and bare bones service. You know, for power.

Meanwhile if you’re wealthy just turn on a generator.

Is this really so hard to understand or are you guys this brainwashed? It’s just reality. Sorry that your feelings preclude you from that awareness but we aren’t all that low-bar.

Oh boy yeah buddy that’s so awful that wealth disparity means, in the most wealthy place on earth, that people have to suffer without, checks notes, basic fucking utilities

I’m sure the old people you fuck over with that “fuck off and die I got mine” mindset love that. Because fuck off to your neighbor right?

Sounds like you’re the awful human being to be honest. Irony is beautiful sometimes, isn’t it?

Keep fighting to hold down your neighbor, what a cause!

You don’t even have a solid moral argument let alone socioeconomic.

There’s always Alabama. Or Texas where they just let people freeze and laugh about it. We are better than that though.

Take your stain of a worldview and bury it with the boomers. This country and state is better than that poison.

Unfortunately I don’t think this person is mentally ill. They are just one of the very many perpetual victims who are offended constantly and are now finding the reasons a snowstorm are racist and elitist. It’s so boring and tiresome dude.

Wow half..... go a little further north or west. Multiple towns have none. My kid has only been to school like 11 or 12 days this month

I don’t have a cooler and the last time I put food out( a banana cream pie) it was eaten by a wild animal😂. Oh yes I remember 08. 7 days without electric in my home with 2 kids under 4 and multiple pets. Fun times!!!

There must be so many angry old boomers trapped in their houses on this overcast cold winter day just slamming keyboards. It’s as if they don’t work and just drool on Fox News all day 🙂 what a hoard of brainwashed rubes. This is why this country is a shithole. Old angry entitled white boomers (and their equally miserable/brainwashed progeny trapped in their intergenerational hell and low paying slave labor jobs)

If these people had money (ok, and education) (ok, and maybe a little more moral integrity) (ok, and less cultural rot) they’d be happier but they constantly sabotage themselves and then take out their poison on society to double down. Totally deluded and trapped in their mental/cultural prisons of rot

Pretty sad tbh, but they don’t seem to know or want help
