I haven't played anything past BL3, but iirc Torgue weapon's damage per shot is higher than every other manufacturer's except Jakobs. They also deal all that damage in an AoE. Their downside is that they are slow, both fire rate and projectile flight speed is... bad. Doesn't matter much when you can finish a fight in one click and have an epileptic seizure doing it!

If you are talking about Tina's Wonderlands, it sounds like they nerfed Torgue guns. SAD MR. TORGUE NOISES

Super duper recommend playing BL2, it's still the best one in the franchise and a modern gaming classic for sure

Already have! It's been a while though, so I can't remember much besides the intro sequence and farming Terramorphius (I spell that right?). Might be time for a replay!

I started BL2 yesterday, and when i killed knuckledragger, i instantly got a legendary. Pretty lucky and made me laugh a little.

I played all the games a lot. Manufacturer only matters for specific builds and its more about the legendaries than anything. Torgue is great on some characters. In BL3 you can make a Moze build with torgue rocket launchers that doesn't even need to aim to clear the entire screen. And it can do billions of damage with right setup and a direct hit.
