It isn't probably the janitor or even the cashier in the first wave, more like the project managers, marketing, financial people, customer helpdesk, so mostly office jobs.

That is such a Capitalistic mindset, where everyone needs a job in order to survive.
With the arrival of AI, so many things will be able to automated, jobs become less and less necessary.
So instead of forcing everyone to still have jobs, we could implement something like Universal Basic Income and just tax the ones using AI more since they have more money.

Do you have an existing example of this happening? No? Didn’t think so lol

There are companies build on AI jumping up.
Like that one that uses AI to generate rocket engine parts, which they then 3D print.
Before they had to model those parts by hand.
So you can be certain their profit and production increased.

Do you have a source, and does this change in the process actually show it causes job loss? Or is it just an increase in productivity?

The future is near. I am kind of excited, actually, I love competition.

Im not saying it wont happen but ai cant really replace every1. If most low level jobs like janitor and cashier get replaced then there will be a crisis with there being a rise in homeless people, less tax payers and other stuff so there will prob be a law to keep it at a minimum but who knows...
