no, i think its mostly because they don't actually have any sort of experience with how to distribute colors, witch specific color to use and when ect. and just make stuff that people find mildly visually appealing instead.

isnt that the point of art, though? to portray something in a subjectively appealing way? it doesn't have to be a science, albeit color theory is definitely interesting. art is art, people can make what they please

So drawing on a tablet isn't art now? I've seen beautiful drawings made on tablets. Art is art. No matter how or where you're doing it.

tbh some 30 minute job that can be done by billions of 15 year old's hardly qualifies

Have you ever drawn on a tablet before? If you can draw on paper you can draw on a tablet and vice versa. The biggest difference is that a tablet is faster and smoother because you have all colors and erasing won't ruin everything like it so easily can on traditional art

you know what they say, quality over quantity. and <2 hr jobs is clearly quantity.

Where are you getting 2 hr from? It can still take days to do one digital drawing

While I disagree with the art discussion, I will reiterate and agree with the queer commonality of off the wall sounding magic gender non gender words

I thought they do that to cut down on buying so many materials that take up so much space. Is it really that much of an issue?
