The 2008 hulk is the MCU versionđŸ˜‚ and if you ask me Infinity war did more harm to the character than she hulk. She Hulk just established smart hulk which is a form he has in the comics, infinity war made hulk scarred to come out and fight which makes no damn sense.

I think he means it wasn't the MCU back then, it was a standalone movie and that version of Hulk was best.

But that movie is in the mcu. Different actor, diferent looking hulk. But same universe. Thats why they brought the same actor for the abomination into she hulk. Google it, theres lots of references to the film and tie ins later.
