But the man has a point, and I think that the triad kinda gives you extra security, they need you alive so she can divorce and then stay afterwards.

Except if you somehow piss her off even in the slightest..it's not going to end up well for you besides you're not the only candidate there's many people from your country that will willingly take the offer so you have zero leverage too
