I know what you mean but i think it just comes down to most art not being that good. We look back at our youth and even more at history and we see all the good art and think that that’s all there was but there is a pile of shit that just gets lost because it’s not worth remembering. Every remake rolls the dice again. You and I get see the dice roll for our favorite works again and most of it will be bad but that just the game and you can’t opt out.

Most of the big names in movies were good nearly every single time. Now it seems like everything is consistently garbage with a very rare good movie.

I used to go to the theatre for every single marvel movie and now everything past endgame is so bad that I don’t even watch those movies at home.

I’d rather they left all the big movie franchises alone as everything they touch turns to garbage

Honestly it feels like the comic book film might begin die again like in the early 2000 before iron man revived it. Just like before it’s drowning in its own tropes, now with the added wait of “transactionalism” and Disney’s greed. It’s sad but at least we got some good movies along the way.

It’s like they aren’t even trying when they put out something like shehulk

The whole idea of having shows that take 10+ hours and are central to the canon could never work. Like I am not watch the time equivalent of all of phase 3 just to find out that Wanda is a bad guy now.

Sure have them be completely separate from the movies but there still has to be some quality on it, especially with the high bar marvel set with the older movies
