I might not be right here but I think it is because your worst nightmare is becoming one of these incels, as you say. It's also a severe nightmare for me. But carrying so much hatred around is not the right way to go about things. These people are disillusioned? Then do your best to reform them, not to spite them.

Sorry op, polyamorous people have always faced backlash because everyone else either can’t fathom it or are hella jealous they can’t do that because they love their monogamous partner.

However, if you’re watching your girl have sex, that’s voyeur, not polygamy, everyone fucks everyone in polygamy. Not every time, obviously, because too many people turns it into a charade, but I know several polygamists and they all definitely have threesomes and foursomes with their partners.

And it’s not just sex, polygamists will often have all their partners move under one roof
