Sorry, this is 100 percent true. You're missing one important item though. Social status or "popularity", women want men with high social value. So, if you're shy and not particularly social then you'll need to compensate with extra good looks and lots of money. These married men either married the bottom 80% of women that aren't attractive or are over weight, OR they were popular in school and college OR are rich and attractive.

As a male, I will say with certainty that most of my “average” male friends (appearance and social status) have wives waaaaay out of their league appearance-wise. I am by no means a super model in terms of looks either, but I have had well over a dozen sex partners who most men would be extremely jealous of. No, there’s a lot of repeat divorces in the very bottom of the social-economic scale. Skews everything. Hard working, decent human beings with emotional intelligence don’t get divorced often. Emotional train wrecks of human beings always get divorced.
