Try living in the UK, we get an entire month of fireworks as people celebrate the fact that some guy who tried to overthrow a corrupt government got brutally tortured.

Not everywhere is the US.

Only other place I know of that firing fireworks not on new year's is okay is India, quite a few countries have outright banned them in all shapes and sizes even during new year's.
