It cost $15 bucks for a basic bitch beet salad, $13 bucks for some lousy tomato soup and sourdough bread, $10 bucks for a side of mashed potatoes, and $13 bucks for your average Caesar salad?!

What's up with these prices? It would be one thing if they were serving high end meals like real truffles, A5 wagyu, filet mignon, caviar, fresh caught fish, etc but what they're serving is something you can usually find at any half decent 3- 3/1/2 star restaurant for half the price and probably just as good if not better.

Edit: $12 bucks for a fucking pretzel?!

Where do you live? None of the stuff you’re naming off is particularly egregious in a big city. This isn’t even remotely expensive-expensive even. These are like the prices you’d encounter at a Morton’s or a Ruth Chris or something. Though, I could see how that would seem atrocious if your frame of reference is an Applebees or something.

As someone who has eaten there before it is very expensive but also so good. Everything I had was cooked perfectly.

I'm sure the food is delicious but I wouldn't pay those prices for what they're serving but that's just me.

That’s fair. I was only there because my grandparents were paying and wanted me to come
