Patrolling the Mojave Commonwealth almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

I wonder if uranium glass is microwave safe

You can’t even eat off uranium glass so probably not 😅
HypnoSmoke t1_je8q5ye wrote
"Glass colored with uranium salts is easily identified because uranium fluoresces bright green under ultraviolet light (3). Luckily, since these items emit only negligibly tiny amounts of radiation, they are safe to handle, eat and drink from"

It's always a trip when I find some when I'm out buying vintage and antique glass. Hard to find and pricey too and I only buy at estate sales and estate auctions/great-aunt-mabel's-house-clean-out auctions kind of thing.
I have only 2 pieces and they're a sugar and creamer set I still won't part with. I'd post a pic but I'm still sh*te at linking things here

Vaseline glass is a specific type of uranium glass. The largest collection (so they claim) is in an antique store in a tiny town of Hawley, PA. Very cool place
