I could believe for Japanese sensibilities there is much variety, but for my West-European taste I don't really notice much outspoken difference.

Yeah, at first I wasn't digging the flavor but it takes a bit to kick in. Try freezing them! When ready to eat take out and let thaw for a minute or 2 and eat slowly, frozen/really cold chocolate tastes better IMO
