Very interesting. Probably controversial for you to save it but I would. Regardless of everything it’s still a piece of important history to this country

Nah, too fine a line between "important history" and honoring - even unintentionally - racist assholes who still have way too much of an impact on society. I say burn it and bury the ashes.

But if you really want it "remembered," see if there's a university or a museum that might be interested. I definitely would NOT keep it myself, or leave it in private hands.

Unpleasant parts of history need to be remembered to help avoid repeating the same mistakes. This belongs in an university/museum archive somewhere.
