Definitely a sunlight thing I can appear grey and paper white in some lightings and my mom could almost be considered brown (not ethnicity wise just color wise) due to how much she spends outdoors and I don't

She does a bit, but she mostly just goes on holiday and doesn’t use any suncream.

Definitely her. I don’t spend much time outside, I always use suncream, and I don’t easily tan/ burn anyway.

It is due to tanning. I spend not much time outside, she spends a lot. I use a lot of sun cream (mum is a dermatologist) and she doesn’t.

No, i just don’t tan easily and I spend more time inside. She tans easily and likes the outdoors.

We are of the exact same ethnicity, and she has gotten such a deep tan that it’s completely different to her normal skin colour.
