Extra crispy! They always tend to molt while suspended from a little string of web so the skins dry out in the wind and sun pretty quickly. If I find really well preserved ones I sometimes keep them because they’re interesting to look at and they keep for a long period of time :)

Totally - I’ve seen videos of spiders and other invertebrates molting and it looks so exhausting and uncomfortable. Like giving birth to yourself

Roaches are 100 percent worse than Huntsmen, also much harder to see when running towards you

The skin of a large huntsman spider after it had molted. Found it on my recycling bin this morning.
