Extra crispy! They always tend to molt while suspended from a little string of web so the skins dry out in the wind and sun pretty quickly. If I find really well preserved ones I sometimes keep them because they’re interesting to look at and they keep for a long period of time :)

Totally - I’ve seen videos of spiders and other invertebrates molting and it looks so exhausting and uncomfortable. Like giving birth to yourself

Well, if he was, then he’d have some serious problems because his entire ass was a dried up husk. I don’t drink enough water, but even I have never been THAT dehydrated.
