i'm pretty confident when it's done it looks perfect, as far as everyone worried about my cousin getting in trouble... he has been posting stuff for 10 + years seriously down to the dam tree's they pick for the wood. I don't think he would post as much publicly as he does if they had any sort of worry about this.. He's a very stand up guy and I just thought this was mildly interesting so I shared. edit/update here is a pic of one of the trees he's posted before and the type of guitar I think it went in. I know he likes the tree picking part and takes it super seriously. I'm not saying this guitar is from that tree just yea.. however this is the guitar he posted after that tree pic and its just beautiful. https://imgur.com/a/6Guri1h

That tree is gorgeous. Quilted is already about as good as it gets for maple but it's so strong here that you can see it right through the bark
