I’m an attorney, and I have no idea what you’re talking about. Unless there’s an NDA, which he already said there wasn’t, you just made a bunch of shit up because this guy’s cousin is way cooler than you are. But, seriously, stop pretending like things are fireable offenses or carry some sort of liability when they don’t.

He’s located in Bozeman, Montana. Which is where the Gibson specialized guitars are made. And, as a Montana attorney, I can assure you that we do not have at-will employment. You can only be fired for cause in Montana, and that’s a really high legal standard. Thanks for playing “I don’t know what I’m talking about.”

Jfc I have to explain this a million times to idiots. Montana does not have at-will employment. You can only be fired “for cause” here, and thanks to some really great cases, that’s a pretty high standard. So go crawl back into your hole because where this guy lives, he’s not getting fired just because some fucktard on the internet thinks he should.

Yep, we sure are. And happy to have everyone else think we’re cunts so they’ll stay the fuck out of our state.

If you’re an attorney, you should

1. Know how exhausting it is to hear people start sentences with “I’m an attorney”.
  1. You should know that “fireable offenses” have nothing to do with anymore in our capitalist hellscape.

  2. You don’t need any more liability than anyone upstream who sees this photo and didn’t want it to be public. That could be Elton just wanting to be private. That could be someone who bought it for Elton not wanting the surprise ruined. That could be a manager who wants to be able to promise future customers discretion.

So…. Go be a lawyer somewhere else where you know what you’re talking about.

I’m a lawyer in Montana, where his cousin lives. So I’m pretty sure my knowledge about the employment laws in Montana are relevant. You, on the other hand, have no idea what you’re talking about. Go play expert somewhere else.

Lol- of course it’s Montana, the one state in the union where employment law is still almost ok.
