We have an apple tree in our front yard and it also produces red apples on the inside. I don't know what is causing it though. I assumed it was just the type of apple but those look much different than our type of apple.
Huh so interesting maybe my tree and yours are the same type just different soil conditions making the skin different. That's cool thanks for letting me know.
