Unleaded 88 is a higher ethanol level. You'll get worse gas mileage, but it burns a little cleaner. Regular is just your stock fuel you see everywhere.

Not even 3 mpg less, more like .5 mpg less. Well worth it when Sheetz has it for sometimes 40cents cheaper than e87. Hell, my car still says I get like 34-36 mpg on average per fill-up, same as when I used e87

Just don't let it sit around because it absorbs water, so it's probably not the best choice for your lawn mower, tractor, or classic car.
