I like to imagine that someone in the factory secretly does this because they know how it delights little kids and adults who still have joy to get the random noodle on their plate.

Why would it be untrustworthy?

Check out that sub. Super easy to just yeet a different noodle in the box, and snap a photo. I don't know why someone would, but then again I don't know why most of the photos in this sub get posted.

I know this sub but I don't see how my post would fit in there. Yes, I could've faked it but as you already said, there's no reason to do that, especially when checking out my profile, literally no effort goes into that profile. It's also statistically just a matter of time for someone in r/mildlyinteresting to find a misplaced noodle as that's not uncommon (speaking from experience from stocking pasta in a grocery store). I just found the noodle, grabbed it for a few seconds to look at it, placed it back where it was and took a picture for the subreddit.

This rotini identifies as a penne. It is not for us to judge this pasta's life choices, but to support it in living its best penne life.
