Potatoes are not microwave ready. But, throw that in any oven and see what happens. For the microwave, get a new one.

Last time I went to a Kroger they had a bin full of shitty looking potatoes for 67¢ /lb. and next to it was meat counter style packs of 4 "baking potatoes" for $4.99. I ripped open some packages and got the better potatoes cheaper. Fuck Kroger
