No need to be sorry, handwriting is like a fancy way to write your words I guess you could put it that way lol. Most the letters look similar but every letter except the first letter is connected in some way you write it by not taking your pen off the sheet for the full word.

That type of writing is called cursive/script... Handwriting is just any writing that is done by hand, which includes print. OP is correct in their usage

I stand corrected really shows you how much school systems know I was taught at an early age that was called cursive or handwriting but a quick internet search proved me and the school I went to wrong. Apologies OP forget what I said and keep at your handwriting it's looking good.

Handwriting includes both printing and cursive styles and is separate from formal calligraphy or typeface.” This is handwriting. I did handwriting classes at school every week for 8 years and we never did cursive, just print. It’s still handwriting.
