It looks like OP is talking about the cut of the bill, not the design (which is the same on all $50 bills, of course). Notice the large discrepancy in margins around the design, especially at the top and bottom. Sure, they're all like this to an extent, but this one is mildlyinterestingly worse than a typical bill.

That's the way Ulysses S. Grant likes it.

Yeah, I wouldn't send it to cgc or beckett. You could try psa they are more lenient with centering. It's not M or NM by any means with the edge/corner marks but it could get a 5 or 6 (would have to see the back). With that in mind and depending on the grade it will be worth about $40.93, sadly the value has gone down about 3.39% in the past 5 years since they have been massed printed since it release in 1862 set due to an increase in popularity amongst the player base.

Maybe depending on the collector, but misaligned cuts aren't generally valued higher unless part of the design is missing due to cut misalignment. Along with that, on this specific one, the bill is damaged enough from folds and the stamp on the right that it won't hold a premium

Could be a fake, hold it up to the light and look for the water marks and a strip imbedded in it.

That is considered an "Error Bill" and is definitely worth more than just $50.

Grants eyes are too close together. Are we sure he wasn't really a Southerner?
