Hello,

I would like to buy a new gamer monitor, but I see in many places that the response time of the IPS is slower than that of the TN panel. But TN panels have bad colors. Recently, the minimum IPS response time is 0.5ms and 1ms. The maximum is 5ms or 6ms. Is this a noticeable difference compared to TN panels?

Depends on what you plan on doing. Casually playing games, ips is completely fine. Tryharding on pro level, well I guess you wouldn’t be asking then.

Take a high quality ips panel and you are good to go. Unless you want to save a buck tn isn’t all that interesting anymore.

I read that the average response time for TN panels is 2-4 ms, while one IPS monitor has a maximum of 6 ms. But would this mean that the IPS monitor has as good a response time as the TN, doesn't it?

The dufference between 2ms to 6ms is a huge difference. However, the question is will it matter to YOU because if you just casually play, browse and watch Netflix it won’t. Also those times are not set in stone, it depends on the display and there are low response ips panels as the technology is still developed. So it solely depends on your usage.
