I watched Repo! A genetic opera today and I was wondering if there were films that also handle surgery addiction/ surgery being used as a fashion statement.

Just think it’s a cool theme and want to know if there are good movies about this topic.

Thanks.

To clarify, Repo! Was not a good Film, I like the concept though

Mika Ninagawa's Helter Skelter (2012), a superb, surreal Japanese film about a surgery-addicted model starting to fall apart. I believe you can find it on Netflix (and mind you don't confuse it with either of the two films about Charles Manson bearing the same title).

There's a fantastic, creepy, gruesome scene in David Lynch's Dune, featuring Baron Harkonnen getting doctor's treatments to keep his grotesque skin diseases flowering.

And one of the bigger side-stories in Terry Gilliam's Brazil has "Mrs. Lowry" undergoing perpetual plastic surgery:

Check out Death Becomes Her, it's a dark comedy about a woman who takes an age-reversing potion and then experiences disturbing supernatural side effects. One of my favorites for Halloween season.
