I saw The Sopranos, great show but I didn't like the ending :p
Where is Hannibal?
I saw one season but I didn't like it that much to watch more ;)
How is this about movies? r/television is this way.
I’d recommend The Sinner, great slow burn, loved every minute.
This one gonna go first, thank you :)
The Fall - Stars Gillan Anderson oops just noticed you watched it
Happy Valley 3 Series
I saw The Fall, good show but didn't blow me away :)
Happy valley ?
We have just finished Unbelievable which was excellent. We also recently enjoyed: Black bird, Sherwood, the night of.
I'll be sure to check Black Bird, looks good, thank you :)
It’s excellent. I wasn’t sure about Taron Egerton until I saw this.
Sneaky Pete is one of my favorites on amazon.
Premise (from wikipedia):
Sneaky Pete follows Marius, a con man who gets out of prison only to find himself hunted by the vicious gangster he once robbed. With nowhere else to turn, Marius takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete and then "reunites" with Pete's estranged family — who have no reason to suspect he is not their long-lost loved one.
Gangs of London
I saw few episodes, not bad but too much violence for me :)
Twin peaks. It’s under 50 episodes and it has inspired a lot of shows that you have mentioned above
I saw old Twin Peaks, great series but I didn't like the new one.
Yeah.. I get why you might not have liked it. Did you watch Fire Walk With me though?
I wasn't able to watch it because of the musical score. Sure, it is beautiful, but by the third time it repeats exactly the same way (all within the first few minutes of the first episode ffs), and places the "emotional crecendo" at exactly the same spot, I stopped giving a shit about what was going on in the storyline, i was just counting down to the next crecendo, knowing that that is exactly when they'll express some emotion or do something "big". And the "big" didnt even feel big because it had been counted down to with music - it just felt like blah blah blah for the sake of blah blah blah, just to put something where the music demands it. And the music comes on every fucking scene, the show is just barraging you with "big moments" which all together just feel unnecessary, forced and outright dumb.
ps. I managed to watch 1 episode and 15min because it was recommended to me, but jesus fucking christ that is time that i will never get back. It is a mystery to me how other people can enjoy the show, do they not notice the formula or not care about it?
You have to watch till episode 3 atleast. Twin peaks came at a time when there were no shows like it. It came out 33 years ago. Obviously there are gonna be some things which haven’t aged properly. I suggest episode 3 is the one that hooks a lot of people. Sure it’s strange, but it is a damn good murder mystery and overall the best mystery I’ve ever experienced
Only way I would do that is if someone does a remix and removes the music completely haha :P
Well season 3 does not feature any music at all

Banshee, and I appreciate it's outside your timeline, but do not ignore The Sopranos.
Generation Kill is also well worth a watch, but it's Gulf War, not crime.
