What movies have epic sound tracks? Im talking about movies where the sound track is almost better than the movie or at the very least knocks the movie up a notch.

For me:

The daft punk music video - Tron 2 - comes to mind

Mad Max Fury Road is also pretty damn good. The guy with the flaming guitar puts a smile on my face every time.

Bit of a cliché maybe but for me it's still Interstellar iconic soundtrack, nothing beats it for me hearing it for the first time, getting inevitable goosebumps every time you listen to it.

Interstellar had a pretty good score and definitely adds the right emotions in the right spots.

It was crazy that the only way to hear the Jon Davis version of the songs was to watch the movie or pirate. The actual soundtrack was just cover versions of the music from the movie.

Never seen it but if the south park parody of it is anything to go off of it must be pretty epic.

The fear street trilogy has an insane soundtrack. They only use very small snippets I assume so they don't have to pay royalties etc but still incredible soundtracks.
