I love Leo’s films , he has managed to consistently work hard and has an incredible list of films without any serious dips , his work for the environment is commendable

However I feel he favours the screaming and shouting acting too much , he does it a lot across pretty much every film and it comes across as too performing rather than subtle acting

I find it hard to find one where he hasn’t at one point resorted to an outrage , fury , screaming or yelling scene where it might not always be necessary

Yes agreed, kinda like Al Pacino in later years except Pacino has an extraordinary range and subtlety, nuance and creativity.

Di Caprio a great actor though but you rightly mentioned that he is performing for the sake of performing rather than subtle act
