Masterpieces in your mind. Movies you can watch over and over again and not get tired. I think at least everyone has a list. I'll start.
The Godfather 2 - The entire film is a chess game by Michael Corleone. His reaction when hearing his brother unwittingly out himself as Hyman Roth's inside man is priceless.
Interstellar - This is really one of those movies you have to watch more than once to notice all the detail, but it never gets old.
The Shawshank Redemption - This movie has a unique charm to it. One of those I never get tired of watching. Andy's escape scene towards the end is always my favorite part.
The Dark Knight - Growing up a Batman fan and a huge fan of Jack Nicholson's Joker, I was skeptical about Ledger's until I saw the trailer and the movie itself blew me away when I first saw it. Ledger was amazing and Bale remains my favorite portrayal of Bruce Wayne. (Not Batman)
Inglorious Basterds - My favorite Tarantino flick. All around great acting and a terrific story. That bar scene alone is awesome.
