The film with the most misleading trailer has to be A Man Called Otto. The trailer made it look like it was going to be a lighthearted comedy throughout even thought the film is very much a dramedy as it has some very funny moments but also has a very tragic last half hour particularly when it talks about Otto's backstory. Definitely an example of how a trailer made the film's genre seem a little different than it actually was.
